Well its only been about 2 years since we started the journey of reproducing the CBS110 the brass 4 way union.The first good sample arrived about a year ago.However we decided to reject the casting due to a small problem.Then nothing happened,we waited and chased the manufacturer.Still nothing.Then we were told that they were to difficult to produce and more excuses.Anyway to cut a long story short they had miss quoted due to material costs rising etc.The manuacturer requoted for the part and the good news is we have now received a very clean casting,all was good until we tried the CBS128 brake light switch.The bad news is the thead has been cut wrong.The good news is that is going to be put right and we should get the new correct sample in a couple of weeks.What this space.
